SMS inbox & two-way texting

Connect Twilio and reply to customers from the Messages SMS tab.

Before you start

Two-way SMS uses the platform Twilio number. Inbound texts to that number appear in your inbox when the customer's phone matches a CRM record.

Send and receive

  1. Open Messages → SMS tab.
  2. Select a thread by customer phone number, or start from a customer profile with a saved mobile number.
  3. Type your reply — outbound SMS uses credits from your balance.
  4. Inbound replies to your business number thread here automatically when the sender matches a customer.
If SMS is unavailable, open a support ticket — your account may need the business number enabled on your plan.
